About the Role
As the Consumer Insights Manager, you’ll lead and embed consumer-first thinking across all brand, portfolio and commercial strategy decisions at DON.
This Docklands-based role partners with research agencies, the marketing team, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the voice of the consumer is front and centre. You’ll oversee end-to-end research projects, manage tracking programs, drive best-in-class methodologies, and influence senior stakeholders with clear insights that lead to action.
Responsibilities
- Design and manage consumer research projects in partnership with agency suppliers
- Lead DON’s brand health tracking program and flexi-modules
- Build and manage frameworks for competitive benchmarking, NPD preference testing and sensory evaluation
- Communicate consumer learnings to SLT and across the wider business
- Manage trend and insights partnerships (e.g. Mintel, T Garage, The Food People)
- Act as the consumer voice in commercial and strategic forums
- Assist with marketing team capability and uplift across insights methodologies
- Manage the insights budget across sensory and consumer understanding

You are a consumer insights leader with:
- 5–7 years of insights experience (client or agency side)
- Expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
- Experience managing research agencies and internal partnerships
- Knowledge of FMCG, QSR or foodservice (ideal)
- Strong analytical, commercial and strategic thinking skills
- A proactive, structured approach and the ability to bring insight to life for commercial teams
- A tertiary qualification in Marketing, Business or Commerce
